Police Hunt Four Women Over £300 Dine-and-Dash in Norwich

Four women are being hunted by Norfolk Police after walking out on a £300 bill at Cheers restaurant in Norwich. The group, who had their young children with them, visited the eatery on October 5 just after 6 pm.
During their two-hour stay, the women ran up a massive tab. They ate over £130 worth of steaks and knocked back 11 Baileys shots, along with cocktails, beer, wine, starters, and dessert. Waiters noted they were laughing and seemed to be celebrating something, so they didn’t suspect anything was wrong.

Staff eventually realized the women were sneaking out one by one without paying. By the time workers ran outside to confront them, the group was already fleeing down the street.

The restaurant’s owner, Andrea Marinho, said she was shocked and had to cover the £300 loss out of her own pocket. She noted the theft is especially frustrating since the business only opened in January, adding: “What kind of model are they for their children?”
Norfolk Police have released CCTV images of the suspects and are urging anyone with information to get in touch.
